Research direction

This is a licensing and usage-policy question, not a code change. The payload names no source files or tests. Start by reading the repository's LICENSE file and any usage-policy or model-card text on the model weights, then check whether they address commercial use, voice cloning consent and attribution. Done means a maintainer-confirmed answer, which could be added to the README or FAQ as documentation.

Description

Hello OpenBMB team, thank you for releasing VoxCPM2.

We are a small online shop in Thailand. We would like to use VoxCPM2, running locally on our own computer, as the Thai voice of an AI avatar that presents our own products in live-selling streams (for example TikTok LIVE). The avatar is clearly labeled as AI on screen.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Is this commercial use allowed under the Apache-2.0 license of the VoxCPM2 code and model weights, with no additional terms?
  2. We plan to clone the voice of one of our own employees, who has given written consent for this use. Is this acceptable under your usage policy? (We understand that impersonation, fraud and disinformation are forbidden.)
  3. Is there anything else we should do, for example attribution or a notice?

Thank you very much!
