Research direction

Read the discussion and compare the suggested names against the project’s stated purpose: an open-source SysML v2 implementation. The issue does not identify files or tests; it asks for community input on a project name and notes that distributed clients may be affected. Done means reaching a clear naming decision, including whether client-facing names need to change.

Description

help wanted question

We require suggestions for renaming of the OpenSysML project in order to distinguish ourselves from the "OpenSysML" community. Current front runners:

sysml-v2-implementation
SysmlRuntimeEnvironment (SRE? SysRE?)
sysml-v2-runtime-environment (SV2RE??)
orrery
motor

Basically, we're looking for a simple name that we can just change to that accurately describes what the project does. The binaries wouldn't change, but most likely this would affect all currently distributed clients.

Open to discussion here. Yay or nay, or alternative to consider.
