Research direction

This issue tracks six pull requests (#2184–#2189) covering UQ statistics, OOD scorers, and related refactors; start by reading those pull requests and their linked predecessors. The issue gives no specific files or tests to begin with, and its scope depends partly on another stack (#2133).

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Track the six-part UQ/Guardrails refactor.

Existing non-experimental APIs retain their default behavior. CFD adoption will follow separately; its unchanged inference and benchmark suites pass against the new core stack. The conformal APIs used by PR 5 are now in main (#2061–#2064).

These PRs form a registered native GitHub stack, with all source branches in NVIDIA/physicsnemo. Each replacement links to its closed predecessor for earlier review discussion.
