Description

HTML links in (description) text of a slide are not working as expected on mobile devices, because a tap event is used instead of a click. Instead of opening the respective link target the timeline scrolls to the right or left.
It should work, in accordance to the description: "As an alternative, consider using HTML to add links in the caption, credit, or text for the slide."
Tested with several browsers on several mobile devices (incl. mobile device simulator on desktop browsers).

Is there a possibility to avoid this malfunction on mobile devices?
