Research direction

Start with Section 3.5 of the user guide and Section 8’s Mock BPA instructions. Explain how the API and Mock BPA command argument select a key file type by extension: ".json" for JWK Set and ".cbor" for COSE Key Set, including the practical effects on the Mock BPA. Done when both sections cover the loaders and their effects.

Description

documentation

The user guide does not explain key file loading utilites in the crypto library (Section 3.5) or the practical effects on the Mock BPA using the key file loading (Section 8). The API and the Mock BPA command arg both distinguish file type by their extension ".json" for JWK Set or ".cbor" for COSE Key Set.
