Research direction
No files or tests are named. First reproduce the home-screen sync and project-reopen flow on the affected mobile platforms, then trace the project reopening and map redraw lifecycle. Done means the map immediately displays all server changes after reopening, without panning or other interaction.

Description
Description
When the user returns to the home screen without closing the project, syncs the project from the home screen, and then reopens the project, the map canvas does not reflect the server changes. The user must pan or move the map to trigger a redraw and see the updated data.
Environment
[ ] Staging [x] PROD
Application (+ app version, build, operating system)
- Android: 2026.2.0 — Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, Android 15
- iOS: 2026.2.0 — iOS 26.0
- Windows app: 2026.2.0
Steps to reproduce
- Open the mobile app and open a project
- Return to the home screen (without closing the project)
- Sync the project from the home screen
- Reopen the project
- Observe the map canvas
Actual results
The map does not display the server changes received during the sync. The data appears stale until the user pans or moves the map, which triggers a redraw and reveals the updated features.
Expected results
After reopening a project that was synced from the home screen, the map canvas should immediately reflect all server changes without requiring any user interaction such as panning.
