Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. First locate the repository's existing anti-pattern documentation and determine how a select-element example is recorded; done means the proposed empty-option-as-label pattern is documented consistently and reviewed for fit with the project's structure.

Description

I have a suggestion for an anti-pattern for the select element. This is one I see a lot, where the default/empty option is used as a substitute for the label.

<select name="colorPrefs">
   <option value="">Select a color</option>
   <option value="red">Red</option>
   <option value="orange">Orange</option>
   <option value="yellow">Yellow</option>
</select>

Thanks for your consideration!
