Research direction

Start by reading the linked PHP security advisory and locate where this repository selects the PHP version for its Docker image. Check which PHP version LinkStack currently uses and whether it is affected by the listed CVEs. If affected, update to a patched release and confirm the image builds; if not, explain why LinkStack is unaffected in the issue.

Description

A critical vulnerability has been discovered in PHP ([security advisory](https://www.php.net/archive/2026.php#2026-10-20-1)), and emergency security updates have been released (PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, and 8.2.35).

This vulnerability allows remote code execution (RCE).

Could you release a new version of LinkStack that upgrades PHP to a patched version?

If LinkStack is not affected by this vulnerability for any reason, please clarify why and close this issue.
