Research direction

Start with the perceptual uniformity plots on the stable goodpractice documentation page and trace any linked examples or plotting code mentioned there. Determine whether an existing function accepts arbitrary colormaps; done means documenting that function or clearly explaining how those plots are generated.

Description

Hello,

I was wondering how the perceptual uniformity plots here were created.

Is there an existing function somewhere that I can pass an arbitrary colormap and it will generate said plot?
