Research direction
The report names Arma 3 mod folders and a possible regression from the new queue system, but no files or tests. Start by reproducing a scan of a Workshop folder containing many mod folders and compare behavior with the previous update. Done means the scan is no longer unusually slow and the reported folder can be handled as expected.

Description
With a game like arma 3 where You can have 100's of mods it can be very slow scanning through 200 something mod folders but it was fine until a recent update which I am assuming is because of the new queue system I could just highlight the workshop folder but I am guessing it won't let Me compress it cause it's a hidden folder
