Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with Rainbow Six Siege installed through Steam on Windows 11 24H2, using CompactGUI 4.0beta7 and the compression settings shown in the issue. Compare startup while compressed and uncompressed, then identify a compatible outcome; done means the game reaches its main window after compression or the limitation is clearly documented.

Description

OS: Windows 11 24H2
CompactGUI version: 4.0beta7

Rainbow Six Siege installed through Steam no longer starts once compressed (it's stuck on the splash screen before the main window shows up). Uncompressing the game's installation folder fixes the issue.

For reference, here are the settings I was using:

A friend of mine did the same (but with XPRESS8K instead of 16K) and ran into the same issue on Windows 11.
