Research direction

Read the repository’s existing solution folders and choose a problem and a language that does not already have a folder. Add a solution at solutions/<language>/practice<next number>.<ext> with a header comment naming the problem, linking to it, and adding a short note. Done means the solution follows the repository’s existing conventions and the new language is credited in the README.

Description

15-minutes 5-minutes algorithm any-language beginner-friendly c cpp csharp easy go good first issue hacktoberfest help wanted java javascript kotlin python rust swift typescript

This repo is mostly Python. Help me change that.

I'd love for this to become a collection where the same problem is solved in many languages, so learners can compare styles side by side.

Time: ~15 minutes | Level: Beginner and up

Languages I'd love to see

JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, C, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, PHP, Ruby, Dart, Scala, Haskell, or anything else you love.

Task
  • Pick any problem
  • Solve it in your favorite language
  • Save it as solutions/<language>/practice<next number>.<ext>
  • Add a header comment (problem name, link, short note)
Language pioneers

If your language has no folder yet, you'll be the first contributor for it, and I'll credit you in the README.

Comment which language you're taking so nobody doubles up.
