Research direction

Start by checking solutions/python/ for a .py file without a # Source: link; the issue suggests grep -L "Source: http" solutions/python/*.py. Read the solution title and code, then search for and verify the matching original problem. Add the checked link to the header comment only, and comment with the file you picked.

You don't have to write code to contribute

Many solutions don't have a link to the original problem yet. Help the next learner find it.

Time: ~5 minutes | Skills needed: Searching + reading

Task
  • Pick any file in solutions/python/ that has no # Source: link (tip: grep -L "Source: http" solutions/python/*.py lists them)
  • Read the title and code to understand what the problem is
  • Search for the same problem on LeetCode, Codewars, HackerRank, CheckiO, GeeksforGeeks, or similar
  • Add the link to the header: # Problem: / # Source: / # Note:
  • (Optional) Open the link in your browser to confirm it works and matches

Only edit the header comment at the top, please don't change the code. Only add links you opened and checked yourself.

Finding the original problem is one of the fastest ways to understand a solution.

Comment which file you picked.
