- OS: macOS 27.2
Description of the issue:
#3717 added support for zstd-compressed base layers. But the usage for Gradle (and perhaps Maven) plugin users is not clear to me
Expected behavior:
The documentation and FAQs are updated with steps to enable the support.
Steps to reproduce:
Any Java project with a base image that is using zstd compression, e.g. DHI Temurin.

Zstandard compression is not available. In addition to Apache Commons Compress you need the Zstd JNI library - see https://github.com/luben/zstd-jni
