Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Open conversation A and scroll up into older messages.
  2. While still scrolling, receive a new message in conversation B (notification appears).
  3. Observe conversation A.
Expected behavior

Conversation A keeps its scroll position. A message in a different thread shouldn't affect it.

Actual behavior

Conversation A jumps to the bottom when the notification arrives.

Not rooted, disabled all animations

Maybe the new-message receiver triggers a refresh that reloads the open thread and scrolls to the bottom regardless of which thread the message belongs to? I haven't verified yet, but I will be testing this in my fork.
