Research direction

The payload names no source file, so start by finding where the Kotlin Android app defines its keyboard keys and top-row layout. Check how an existing key sends its input to the text field, then add two keys that move the cursor left and right, based on the AnySoftKeyboard reference. Done means both arrow keys appear at the top and move the caret one position per tap in a text field.

Feature description

AnySoftKeyboard has two keys at the top to move the cursor left and right.

Why do you want this feature?

When I want to insert text at a specific point, it is easier to tap around there and move with the arrows, than to be precise with the finger.

This is an example of Fitt's law - pointing exactly between two letters is slower than tapping the area around the letters and then tapping the area of a button.
