Research direction

The issue asks for an Icelandic keyboard layout in this Kotlin Android app, using the Wikipedia layout page as the reference. Start by finding where the existing layouts are defined and how a new one is registered and selected. Then decide which keys carry Ð/ð and Þ/þ, since the issue suggests d and t but does not settle the full mapping. Done when the Icelandic layout can be chosen in the app and types those letters.

Feature description

It would be nice to add the Icelandic keyboard layout (wikipedia) to the app.

Why do you want this feature?

Specific Icelandic letter are missing from other keyboard layouts.
In some other keyboard apps, the Icelandic letter "Ð ð" is available under "d" and the Icelandic letter "Þ þ" is available under "t" on their English QWERTY layout but this is not the case in the Fossify Keyboard app.
