Research direction

The payload names no source files or tests, so start by finding where the app saves captured photos and which image format it uses. Check whether an Android JPEG XL encoder is available and how it would plug into that save path. The issue is stale, has no assignee, and only says to save photos as JXL, so first confirm the scope with maintainers. Done means a photo can be saved as JXL and the choice is covered by a test or a manual check on a device.
