Research direction

The payload names no source files, so start by finding where the app sets the camera preview size and aspect ratio. Reproduce on a 16:9 Android device or emulator, switch the preview between 4:3, 1:1, 16:9 and full, and compare how each one fits the screen borders. Done means 4:3 and 1:1 previews fill the screen as 16:9 and full already do, and the fix is confirmed on a device with the reporter's screen ratio.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. have a Nokia 6.1 2018 with LineageOS 20 (1920:1080 screen ratio, so 16:9)
  2. install Simple Camera 5.7.2 from F-Droid repo
  3. open the app and see the bug on 4:3 and 1:1 settings
Expected behavior
  1. Camera preview aligning to screen borders
  2. Camera preview form ratio matching the configured value
Actual behavior
  1. Preview of 4:3 and 1:1 ratio are incorrectly displayed, something seems to prevent the preview from aligning to the border and using the space correctly
  2. 16:9 and full work as expected (though they logically are the same on my 16:9 screen)
