Description

Current behavior:
The document editor only shows a “Word count” button. The word count is visible after clicking the button.

Expected behavior:
Show the current word count permanently in the status bar, similar to Collabora Online. The count should update automatically while typing.

Environment:

  • Euro-Office DocumentServer 9.3.5.37
  • Nextcloud 33
  • Browser-based editor

so many people requested this, we switched from collabora to euro office to get feedback.
