Research direction

Start by reading the Docker build files in sdkjs, web-apps, server, the example, and build/.docker to compare their Node installation steps and JDK use. Check whether pkg supports Node 22, then evaluate the official node:22 image or the shared emsdk base. Done means the submodules use the chosen base, unused JDKs are removed, and each change is submitted in its own PR.

Description

build-performance

sdkjs, web-apps, server, the example and build/.docker each install Node via curl … setup_20.x | bash on Ubuntu, mostly with a full JDK. Node 20 has been EOL since April 2026. Use the official node:22 image (or one shared base like ghcr.io/euro-office/emsdk), and drop the JDK where it's unused. Check that pkg supports the new Node version. One PR per submodule.
