Research direction

Start with the existing OpenCode agent guide at docs/guides/opencode-and-other-agents.mdx and the OpenCode Go provider docs at docs/providers/opencode-go.mdx; the issue also points to Kilo Gateway support in #537. First determine which built-in agent services expose compatible endpoints and credentials, and whether a base_url override already covers them. Done means a decided scope and a working proxy path with usage tracking, or documentation explaining which existing providers and overrides cover the use case.

Description

Summary

A Discord user wants to track usage of the built-in models that coding agents like Cline and OpenCode ship with (the agent's own hosted provider/subscription), not just models they configure against an OpenAI-compatible base URL. Today, when they pick an agent's built-in model, traffic bypasses GoModel entirely and the usage data is lost.

What already exists:

  • Pointing agents at GoModel as an OpenAI-compatible base URL is documented in docs/guides/opencode-and-other-agents.mdx.
  • OpenCode Zen's Go subscription is supported as a provider (docs/providers/opencode-go.mdx), and Kilo Gateway was added (#537).

Gap: there is no provider/adapter for agent-hosted model services such as Cline's own account models (and possibly OpenCode Zen pay-as-you-go, if it isn't covered by overriding the opencode-go base_url). The ask is for GoModel to be able to sit in front of those so the agent still uses its built-in models while GoModel records usage.

Possible directions (to be evaluated):

  • Add native providers for agent-hosted model services where they expose an API key and OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
  • Document which built-in agent providers can already be reached through existing providers with a base_url override.

Can I merge analytics from different GoModel instances, two DBs? And, how to track usage of built-in models of AI agents like Cline, Opencode etc.? Can you add a proxy? I love analytics and charts!

I mean, when I'm using their built-in models, no way to use them through GoModel and the data is lost
