Research direction

Start by locating the Metadata and Workflow definitions and the IoArgoprojWorkflowV1alpha1Workflow manifest they reference. Trace the workflow resolver entry points to identify where Metadata currently owns duplicate data; done means Metadata fields reference the Workflow manifest without retaining duplicate ownership.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

rust

Instead of having owned data in Metadata that is also available in the IoArgoprojWorkflowV1alpha1Workflow stored in Workflow (ie, duplicate data), have the Metadata fields be references, and instances of Metadata can refer to the manifest field of a Workflow.
