Research direction

Open src/components/ui/Combobox.tsx and read the totalOptions === 0 branch and filter state. Show the searched text when the filter is nonempty, and the empty-options message when it is empty. Keep the message inside the existing paragraph and fieldset; verify with pnpm lint and pnpm typecheck.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

good first issue polish

What to build

When a search inside the selection menu finds nothing, explain what happened and suggest a useful next action. Show a different message when there were no choices to begin with.

Files

Steps

  1. Change only the text inside the empty-result paragraph.
  2. If filter is nonempty, interpolate it using JSX text and recommend fewer letters/check spelling. If empty, show Nothing to choose from yet.
  3. Manually check both branches; do not add HTML parsing or change filtering.

Example

filter="xyz" → No results for "xyz". Try fewer letters or check the spelling.; filter="" → Nothing to choose from yet.

Check it works

Record the observed result or a screenshot in the pull request.
