Description

Native Save/reopen qualification still lacks a verified full image of the exact owned dialog. This is the image-collection dependency of #375 and #291.

Scope: a separate read-only collector for an explicitly admitted XID on the alternate virtual display. Preserve complete raw image metadata and pixels with bounded dimensions and bytes, verify geometry and ownership before and after capture, and reject unsupported or incomplete observations.

Acceptance:

  • Full raw metadata/pixels and derived image match the exact selected window.
  • Bounds, native visual/byte-order decoding, errors, geometry changes, and unsupported coverage have finite controls.
  • Complete originals are retained before comparisons, with independent visual and result review.
  • Every helper has normal owned closure; timeout or rescue cannot qualify a capture.
  • Existing controllers and observer sources remain byte exact.

Win32 message/button queries remain in #375. Input delivery and the two-phase Save/reopen execution remain in #291. This issue adds no input, product behavior, or reference material to the repository.
