Question

The project form asks for a commit ID, but my project has many commits. Which one do I submit?

Answer

Submit only one: the latest commit on the branch you want evaluated (usually main). A commit ID points to the whole repository at that moment, including all earlier commits, so you don’t need to list them. If you push more changes before the deadline, update the form with the new latest commit. Find it on GitHub under the repo’s Commits link, or with git log -1 --format=%h (7-character short ID).
