Research direction

Look for the class constructor and the apparatus handling logic in the codebase. Identify where generators loop over apparati to add the missing check. The changes involve making a parameter optional, adding getter/setter methods, and adding a validation throw. Check for existing tests related to apparatus to understand the expected behavior.

Description

enhancement
Description

We need to

  • make the constructor such that the apparatus is optional. Note that this implies making the operation a URL optional too
  • add interfaces to get and set apparatus. Note that this implies setting a URL too!!
  • Throw if an apparatus not existing when looping over generators
Potential impact radius

Small/Isolated

Reason for change

We need some safety in handling the apparatus and also be able to loop over apparati now that the number of them is increasing.
