Research direction

Start by locating the Spark-related code that creates the listed boto3 clients and resources for S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Lambda, and SSM. Determine how the region is currently selected, then verify that each resource uses the intended region; done means the affected clients and resources consistently receive that region.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

While testing some spark script I notice that it's necessary to pass the region been used to boto3 client.

# S3
s3_client = boto3.client('s3')
s3_resource = boto3.resource('s3')

# Dynamodb
dynamo_client = boto3.client('dynamodb')
dynamo_resource = boto3.resource('dynamodb')

# Glue
glue_client = boto3.client("glue")

# Lambda
lambda_client = boto3.client('lambda')

# SSM
ssm_client = boto3.client('ssm')
