Research direction

Start by reading the Array widget implementation and the Template/Instance widget's gap property to understand how spacing is configured and applied. Trace how the Array widget lays out its sub-widgets and where its settings are exposed. Done means users can specify the gap between Array sub-widgets, as they can for Template/Instance widgets.

Description

I've recently discovered the array widget and would like to start using it to save me copying and pasting widgets in my screens, for which the array widget is great! However, it would be even better if the user was able to specify how far apart they want the sub-widgets to be placed, in the same way as the template/instance widget has the gap property.

I've provided a screenshot of the issue I'm facing below, where I want to line up arrays next to each other but the density of information with the default settings is too much for the user to process.

Image

Left-hand column uses the array widget and the right hand column is copy-and-pasted arrays accessing specific elements of an array (the PV it's calling is not connected atm which is why the values are NaN).
