Research direction
Start by reviewing the repository's existing Devbox setup and any CI usage, then compare the required workflows with the mise documentation at https://mise.en.dev/. Done means deciding whether migration is worthwhile and, if approved, replacing Devbox without losing the current development and CI workflows.

Description
Pros
- Mise can replace everything we use devbox for, and does not depend on nix, direnv, or process-compose
- Mise is more popular and more actively developed
- Faster/smaller builds in CI? (no nix overhead)
Cons
- Devbox ain't broke (this will take some effort to replace; might not be worth the effort relative to other things we might do)
