Research direction

Start by inspecting the services that change Page.items and trace how a Page is saved or overwritten. Reproduce several parallel saves, then verify that an older modified version can no longer overwrite a newer Page version.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

core functionality

Any services call that changes Page.items triggers an overwrite for the Page. If several are running in parallel, the latest version of the Page is overwritten with a modified older version, which is often not what is expected or intended.
