Research direction

Start by locating the book and reviewing its existing simulation-related chapters. Define a chapter that explains principles for running simulation suites and points to recommended tools such as MRP; note experiment suites and calibration as related future scope. Done means the chapter provides this guidance without requiring changes to ixa proper.

Description

docs

You usually don't want to run a single simulation, but rather an experiment, ie a suite of simulations. The tools to do that are probably outside of ixa proper, but it would be nice to have a chapter in the book that gives some principles and/or points to the universe of tools that we recommend (e.g., MRP?).

Really running multiple simulations is just the first step. We also want to think about experiment suites and calibration, etc.
