Help with generating new Guid's

The request concerns a local Information Protection Policy.json file and adding custom labels, information types, keywords, and GUIDs. I'm would like to use a local copy of Information Protection Policy.json to add a couple of classifications more suitable to my business (I work at a University). I would like to add 'Academic' as a Label, then extend "InformationTypes" with an additional 'DisplayName' and key words patterns (additional regex's). However, I can't find any documentation or guidance on how to generate the new GUID's I think I need to set the new Classifications up. Can you advise please?
