Research direction

Reproduce the problem by opening JSON containing a field longer than the window width in PyJSONViewer. Then locate the desktop viewer code that renders long text fields and determine whether wrapping or horizontal scrolling fits the existing interface. Done means the full field content is accessible beyond the window width.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

Either long text fields should be wrapped(preferably) or there should be horizontal scrollbar to access fields that are longer than the window width.
