Research direction

Inspect frontend/src/components/Header.tsx, where breadcrumb URLs are assembled, and compare the debate segment handling with the existing tournament special case. Update the segment so clicking "Debate" routes to /startDebate, then run the frontend tests and verify the bot debate breadcrumb no longer reaches the catch-all 404 route in frontend/src/App.tsx.

Description

bug
Bug Description

When a user starts a Practice with Bot debate from the Start Debate page, the app navigates to /debate/<debateId>. The header breadcrumb then shows:

Home > Debate > <debateId>

The middle "Debate" item is rendered as a clickable link to /debate. However, there is no /debate route in the application - only /debate/:roomId exists. Clicking it falls through to the catch-all route and shows the 404 Page Not Found screen, which also takes the user out of the active debate.

Root cause

frontend/src/components/Header.tsx (lines 132–135) builds a link for every URL segment. Only the tournament segment is special-cased:

let to = `/${pathnames.slice(0, index + 1).join("/")}`;
if (value === "tournament"){
  to = "/tournaments";
}
frontend/src/App.tsx only defines debate/:roomId (line 114). Since /debate on its own matches no route, it goes to <Route path="*" element={<NotFound />} /> (line 124).
Steps to Reproduce

Sign in to the application.
Go to Start Debate.
Click Practice with Bot, choose a bot and topic, and start the debate.
The URL becomes /debate/ and the breadcrumb shows Home > Debate > .
Click Debate in the breadcrumb.

Actual Behavior
The "Debate" breadcrumb item is clickable and links to /debate.
Clicking it opens the 404 Page Not Found screen.
The user is taken out of the ongoing debate.

Expected Behavior
The "Debate" breadcrumb item should not lead to a 404 page.
It should link to the Start Debate page (/startDebate), where the user started the debate. This matches how the tournament segment is already redirected to /tournaments.
