footer functionality to match bootstrap-table one?

I am struggling with trying to implement the footerData example from bootstrap-table 1 in bootstrap-table 2. I read you were still looking for this to be developed in another thread.

Any update on when I could at least add a const footerData example per 1 to bs table 2?

I could really use it (and am fine with doing my own totals and averages thank you very much :)) in just the most generic form.
