Using jquery mobile was a bad call. It is too large, too slow. We need to move to some lightweight library like zepto or something else that has no jQuery dependency. Also need to remove jQuery. it is too large as well.
Possible alternatives: http://minifiedjs.com/ http://zeptojs.com/
Anyone want to pick up this refactoring?
