Basic setup and data selection

We need some instructions to how to setup this code and select where data to be analyzed is. Possibly to quickly check if the format is compatible with what expected (i.e. if column names that are expected are present).

@murrs will follow-up with more details on how this could be achieved but work can already start.

Instructions should go in the README.md file. Some possibly interactive data selection or clear instructions should be provided.
