Page turns white with console error when scrolling through a thread in Mattermost web

Steps to reproduce

Mattermost server 8.1.2

  1. Open Mattermost in the browser
  2. Click on "Threads"
  3. Scroll through the content in "Threads"

Expected behavior

The thread should load and scroll smoothly without any errors.

Observed behavior (that appears unintentional)
