描述

What would you like to be added:

  • a function (checkbox?) to use the helm switch --reset-values when upgrading helm charts

Why is this needed:

  • if we have supplied user values once it is not possible to remove them later
  • user-supplied values will be applied on each update
  • we may want to switch to the helm chart default values

Environment you are Lens application on:

  • Kubernetes distribution: OTC CCE
  • Desktop OS: Windows 10

Investigate the Helm upgrade dialog in the Lens codebase. Look for where the 'helm upgrade' command is constructed and executed. Add a checkbox option for reset values and modify the command string accordingly. The existing UI pattern for checkboxes can be followed. Refer to similar features in the codebase for implementation details.
