On modern wide screen monitors we have a lot of horizontal space. iTerm2 on MacOs provide feature that allow you attach tab bar to any of screen edges. Kitty allow attach the tab bar only to top or bottom edges. I found hyper`s plugin that allowing that - https://github.com/randallsquared/hyper-vertical-tabs Use it as example ;) I realy miss tabs-to-the-side feature in linux terminals :( It be very very cool if kitty does it.
