Hi all,

This is in reference to Brain Hann's tutorial for adding uiSelect dropdowns to ui-grid (link: http://brianhann.com/ui-grid-and-dropdowns/#more-287). Looks like there is an issue with the COL_FIELD reference within the uiSelect template where once selected the current field value disappears and even after selecting an option it does not show. This only happens when using the latest release of ui-grid. Reverting to a previous "unstable" version solves the issue. Just wanted to let the team know!

Reproduce the bug by setting up ui grid with ui select using the current stable release and compare with the unstable version. Investigate the COL FIELD reference in ui select templates. Look at linked tutorial for expected behavior. Check ui grid source code for recent changes that may have caused regression.
