I carefully read the contribution guidelines and agree to them.
I checked if the issue/feature exists in the latest version.

Having the ability to start playing a playlist in the background based on some trigger would be very handy.

I'm ready to try implementing the wanted features myself, just need

an assessment if this is possible at all
confirmation that this is indeed a feature the project needs.
