If you have textbox that is required, it can be cleared and have it's focus lost and never fire validation.

I've been meaning to try and implement this workaround in my code http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14498396/event-fired-when-clearing-text-input-on-ie10-with-clear-icon

The issue is that in IE, clearing an input using the built in clear icon does not fire the input or change event, so validation is not triggered. The StackOverflow link suggests using the 'input' event or 'propertychange' event. Investigate if the clear icon fires any event (e.g., 'search' event for input type search) and implement a workaround in the Knockout Validation library. Check the current code in https://github.com/Knockout Contrib/Knockout Validation/blob/master/src/validation.js for how events are bound and add a handler for the specific IE case.
