Double click a conversation to pop-it out of the interface and into it's own window, like in iMessage for macOS. (Or trigger it from the options menu of a chat in the sidebar)

Investigate Caprine's current window management in the Electron main process. Look at how the chat list and chat window are structured in the React components. The feature could be implemented by creating a new BrowserWindow and moving the chat component into it, using IPC for communication. Check existing Electron examples for pop out windows. The issue has no comments or PRs, so start with the codebase structure in src/ directory.
