描述

Avalara requires for 2-3 character state/region/province abbreviation for all countries but currently we only have them available for US, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Probably just generally a good thing to have anyway. Not sure if there is one consolidated place where you can get these. (or even better, import them)

Look for a reliable data source that provides state/region abbreviations for all countries (e.g., worldstate or a maintained JSON dataset). Check the Comments section for any previous discussions about data sources. Implement a solution to import this data into the appropriate database collection or GraphQL schema.
