Hi OpenGrok,

When working with several projects sometimes I only want a handful of the repositories/branches, as such this enhancement request features the following features.

  • The ability to save the current list of sources selected
  • Recall previously saved sources lists

Bonus features:

  • The ability to favourite searches in a similar mechanism

Investigate the current source selection mechanism in OpenGrok's UI and backend. Look into how user preferences are stored (e.g., cookies, session, files). Consider implementing a new API endpoint to save/retrieve favorite source lists. Relevant files may include Java controllers and JavaScript UI components for project filtering.
