No animation for setting text style

When you select a text style, (Bold, Italic, or Underline) the button just turns blue. You'd expect the button to have a pushed down animation, or something that shows its activated instead of just changing colors. Selected text style options should stay the same color, but have the pushed down animation and stay pushed down.
