Duplicate of `tcp_protocol` in `server`

My current folder structre is:

root
   |-> common 
   |-> device
   |-> server

I thought it was possible for scripts within device and server could look within the common folder. I managed to get around this for the pico, as I need to push the files across manually, hence anything within common will be in the root (need to fix this at some point). However, for the server folder, the server.py was created, and I couldn't find out a way to have this read from the common area.

The quick way around was to just copy the tcp_protocol (the only script in common) into the server; so that I could progress. However, I want to have a common folder which is indeed common.

This is connected to issue #14, but it has a wider implications on the folder structure.
