描述

In order to make releases more painless, and the code more stable and dependable in general I would like to try and hit a goal of at least 80% coverage (line based) on all packages.

First, examine the Codecov link provided to identify which packages have low coverage. Then, look at existing test files in the repository to understand the testing patterns used. Start by adding tests to smaller, less complex packages before tackling larger ones. Consider using the Go testing package and any existing test utilities in the repo.
